Seorang mahasiswi Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) ditangkap oleh polisi karena mengunggah meme media sosial berisi gambar rekayasa Presiden ke-7 RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) dan Presiden ke-8 RI Prabowo Subianto berciuman.
Hal ini pertama kali diketahui dari unggahan di media sosial Twitter alias X oleh akun MurtadhaOne1. “Breaking news! Dapat info mahasiswi SRD ITB barusan diangkut Bareskrim karena meme Wowo yang dia buat,” ujar akun MurtadhaOne1 pada Rabu (7/5/2025) malam.
Pihak kepolisian membenarkan peristiwa penangkapan ini.
“Membenarkan bahwa seorang perempuan berinisial SSS telah ditangkap dan diproses,” ujar Karo Penmas Divisi Humas Polri Brigjen Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko saat dikonfirmasi, Jumat (9/5/2025).
Truno mengatakan, saat ini penyidik masih mendalami rangkaian peristiwa yang terjadi. “Saat ini masih dalam proses penyidikan,” lanjutnya.
Atas tindakannya ini, SSS diduga melanggar Pasal 45 ayat (1) Jo Pasal 27 ayat (1) dan/atau Pasal 51 ayat (1) Jo Pasal 35 Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2024 tentang Perubahan Kedua atas Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik. Berdasarkan informasi yang beredar di media sosial, SSS diketahui membuat sebuah meme atau gambar yang menunjukkan Jokowi dan Prabowo saling berciuman.
